Update: I've checked and read just about everything I can find as far as addons for gmod and I read that theres supposed to be a "gma" folder with my gma files in it under addons but under my addons was just materials, models, settings, sound, and a ton of gma files. I made a gma folder and put ALL my gma's in that folder and opened gmod. It says its downloading addons.
